Capable of both Fahrenheit and Celsius measurements, the bt-degree IR takes forehead temperature in approximately 1 second and eliminates contact with effectiveness from up to 2 inches away.

I purchased 3 of these thermometers from BT's Amazon store. One for my office, two for my home and family. They are fast, accurate, and very simple to use. I have purchased infrared thermometers off Amazon before but they've always felt cheap and have never lasted. In case you're wondering, this unit is made in China. Irrelevant to me since this thermometer would have cost $500 if it was made here in the USA (can the USA even make anything anymore?) but thought I would add this info as I've seen some comments online wondering where this is made.

Superb!

Just received, purchased from BT's Amazon store, WOW! Easy, super fast, and super comfortable to hold. I like the little sleeve that it comes with. The whole thing is a mood! Very happy to have this thermometer, it's running laps around my cheapo knockoff.
